OctoberFest
Oktoberfest is the world’s largest beer festival. It takes place annually in Munich, Germany, from mid-September to the first Sunday in October. The original festival began in 1810 to celebrate the marriage of Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Bavaria. It is now a major event worldwide. People come from all over. In 2026, the Munich festival will run from September 19 to October 4 on the Theresienwiese fairgrounds.
